This statement is made pursuant to the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
M&D Green Ltd is headquartered in Glasgow, UK, and is registered with Companies House, company number SC215009. M&D Green is registered as a pharmacy with the GPhC
Our Business
M&D Green is an NHS-approved pharmacy and also offers high-quality healthcare products and services. We work closely with local healthcare providers to develop services to address specific health needs within our local communities.
Our Policy
We are committed to adopting and improving practices that ensure there is no slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains or any other part of our business.
The products we dispense and sell are manufactured in many different countries, and we aim to ensure that these values are upheld across our supply chain.
We are committed to sourcing quality products from, and building relationships with, suppliers who share our values and ethical standards. We will not enter into business with any organisation which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude, and forced or compulsory labour.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain mainly involves the procurement of pharmaceuticals, the majority coming from large national wholesalers or manufacturers within the UK. Our main suppliers are regulated wholesalers and distributors of medical-surgical products, medical devices, and pharmaceutical products.
We purchase these products from European-based suppliers, many of whom are part of larger global organisations. These organisations acknowledge and typically publish their commitment to anti slavery practices. We review the Anti-slavery policies and statements of our major suppliers and are committed to assessing all suppliers of third-party brands.
Our suppliers are familiar with our Anti-Slavery policy, and the expectation that their policies and the policies of their own suppliers meet our same high standards.
We will assess any instances of non-compliance if and when they arise, and take the appropriate action to remedy such non-compliance.
Training on modern slavery and trafficking
There are sections about modern slavery and trafficking in the safeguarding training module, which are compulsory for all permanent staff members.
