Blood Testing
Fatigue Profile

Persistent Tiredness or Fatigue?
Struggling with persistent fatigue? Our Fatigue Profile test can help uncover potential causes by assessing key health markers:
- Basic Thyroid Screen (TSH, TT3, TT4): The thyroid regulates metabolism and energy. Imbalances, such as hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, can contribute to fatigue.
- Iron Panel: Low iron levels can lead to anaemia, reducing oxygen supply to tissues. This test evaluates total iron, ferritin (stored iron), transferrin, and iron-binding capacity.
- Vitamin B12: Essential for red blood cell production and nerve function. A deficiency can cause tiredness, weakness, and neurological symptoms.
- Full Blood Count (FBC): Measures red and white blood cells to detect anaemia, infections, or other blood disorders that may affect energy levels.
Why Are These Tests Important?
Fatigue can be caused by a variety of factors, and these tests help pinpoint the specific cause. By checking your thyroid function, iron levels, Vitamin B12 status, and overall blood health, we can screen for potential underlying conditions.
