The staff at our Fernhill branch, Melville chemist, hosted their annual Macmillan Coffee morning at the beginning of September. The fundraiser has grown in popularity with service users and has become an event for all ages in the community. The coffee morning helps raise awareness for the services that Macmillan provide and also other cancer support services. It is also a great opportunity for patients to get to know the staff at their local community pharmacy. We would like to congratulate Melville's on their hard work with over £900 raised. This money could pay for a Macmillan nurse for a week, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical practical and emotional support. We hope to see you all next year for another wonderful morning.
