About Us

William St pharmacy is a well established business which has been serving the local community for over 100 years. It is ideally situated on Houston Square in the centre of the town. We pride ourselves in good customer service and all staff are trained to provide information on your healthcare needs. We also have a private consultation room where patients can discuss their medication or minor ailments with the pharmacist.

The pharmacy provides a twice daily prescription collection service from all surgeries in the town. We provide a daily delivery service Monday to Friday and deliver to Johnstone Howwood, Linwood, Houston and Bridge of Weir.

We offer a wide range of services to assist our patients with all their healthcare needs. We offer smoking cessation , emergency hormonal contraception, NHS Scotland Pharmacy First service, private flu vaccination, blood pressure checks, gluten free service and support Pharmacy First scheme where patients within a certain inclusion category can be treated for uncomplicated UTI’S and impetigo.

We are also a palliative care pharmacy an essential service to providing ongoing care to patients.

Patients that require additional support can be assessed and where necessary be supplied with a compliance aid to help them take their medication.
We also offer a wide range of toiletries, cosmetics, perfumes, jewellery and gifts.
