About Us

Fountainbridge Pharmacy is located on Dundee Street; a busy thoroughfare in South West Edinburgh connecting a number of neighbouring communities including Edinburgh City Centre, which can be easily accessed from the bus stop opposite the pharmacy via three bus routes: 1, 34 or 300. Patients can also access the pharmacy from the opposite direction via Gorgie Road or Slateford Road; making us suitably positioned to provide pharmaceutical care for a wide patient-base.

The pharmacy joined the M & D Green Group in November 2017 and we are fully equipped to deliver a high standard of care to the community. Our competent staff order and collect repeat prescriptions from a variety of GP surgeries on a daily basis as part of our repeat prescription service. Dispensed prescriptions can remain in the pharmacy for collection or delivered directly to your door if requested. The pharmacist and supporting staff are always on-hand to answer any queries regarding your medication or general health, ensuring you receive professional pharmaceutical care at all times. We also provide weekly compliance aids to assist those who may require further assistance with their medication. Other services commonly utilised by our patients include the NHS Pharmacy First Service and Emergency Hormonal Contraception. Patients also make full use of our consultation room if they wish to have a more private discussion with the pharmacist or member of staff.
