Our History

Established in 1996, The M & D Green Group is a family owned, independent pharmacy chain, which incorporates M & D Green Dispensing Chemist, Penmans Pharmacy and T McLean & Sons.

Managing Director, Martin Green, who opened the first branch, is still at the helm today. Using his vast knowledge and experience, he ensures the highest level of professional service and pharmaceutical care on a daily basis. 

With 32 branches throughout Glasgow, Ayrshire, Renfrewshire, Lanarkshire, Inverclyde and Lothian, we are ideally positioned to provide a first rate service to our local community. 

Our Vision

We put prevention, management and treatment at the heart of everything we do. Our pharmacy staff are committed healthcare professionals who take a collective interest in customer service.

We aim to be the number one health care providers for patients in Scotland and work closely with local healthcare providers, and the NHS, to develop and deliver high-quality services.

Our facilities support the provision of first rate pharmaceutical care. We regularly invest in our premises, are committed to staff training and take a keen interest in the personal development of each of our team members.

We continue to expand and promote the community pharmacy as the first port of call in all health-related matters.
